Thanksgiving Food Distribution

Second Harvest food bank has scheduled a pre-Thanksgiving food distribution event to serve 1,000 families on Saturday, Nov. 20. In addition to turkeys collected during the food bank’s eighth annual Turkey Drive, fresh produce, dry and canned goods for a Thanksgiving meal will be distributed.

Date: Saturday, Nov. 20
Location: Governor’s Square Mall parking lot, Tallahassee
Time: 9 AM – 12 PM (while supplies last)
Second Harvest will be set up in the Sears parking lot area. Citizens are asked to follow directions from onsite volunteers and TPD traffic control officers. This will be a drive-through distribution; citizens should plan to stay in their cars and follow social distancing protocols. Food is available to anyone in need, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
