Through the Senior Grocery Program we help feed low-income seniors in our community at the end of the month when their financial resources have been exhausted. Currently, the program provides food to more than 1,200 seniors each month, including cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, proteins and grains, fresh bread and produce.
Seniors are served at participating Second Harvest Partner Agencies in Gulf, Hamilton, Lafayette, Leon, Liberty, Jackson, Jefferson, Madison, and Taylor counties.
All seniors 60 or older qualify for our Senior Grocery Program. Eligible seniors can enroll at one of the 14 participating distribution sites listed below.
