OUR IMPACT?

In 2024, Second Harvest distributed over 21 million pounds of nutritious food to people in need at no charge to our neighbors. That’s enough for about 17.5 million meals. Also distributing over 8.7 million pounds of fres produce!

Second Harvest of the Big Bend, part of the national Feeding America network, is a nonprofit food bank that feeds thousands of people by operating specialized feeding programs and collecting and distributing food to hunger-relief charitie. We are dedicated to fighting hunger in the Big Bend and function as the warehouse for millions of pounds of food that go out to the community.
