Tomato and Onion Salad w/Classic Italian Dressin


  • 3 Medium tomatoes
  • 1 cup Thinly Sliced Red Onion
  • 3oz Crumbled Queso Fresco
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup White Wine Vinegar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Dry Oregano
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

  • Make the dressing first by adding the seasoning to a mixing bowl first. Then add oil, vinegar, and 2 pinches of salt. Whisk thoroughly.
  • Slice the tomatoes about a ¼ inch and lay on bottom of a plate.
  • Using a mandolin, thinly slice onion and spread over top of tomato. Then crumble queso fresco and spread over top onion.
  • Finally, add dressing by pouring over top the salad
  • Let it sit for about 5 minutes and enjoy!
