Ingredients
- 12oz of Broccoli Florets
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
- ½ cup Heavy Cream
- 2 strips of Bacon
- ¼ cup Diced Bell Pepper
- 1 TSP Onion Powder
- ½ TSP of Garlic Powder
- 1 TSP Basil, Dry
Cooking Instructions
- Chop up bacon, place in a saucepan, and cook on medium high heat until fat has been rendered and bits have become crispy.
- Chop up bell pepper, when bacon is complete, drain fat, add peppers, add seasoning, and sauté together for 3-5 minutes.
- Add cream and allow it to come to a light boil. Chop up broccoli, place florets in a bag and microwave for 2 minutes.
- When cream/bacon/seasoning are at a boil, add ½ cup of cheese and stir until cheese has melted and mixed with cream.
- Place steamed broccoli in an oven safe dish and pour cheese sauce over top first, then add rest of cheese over top next.
- Place dish in oven on boil until top layer of cheese melts (can microwave as well).
- Serve and enjoy!
